The Role
As a Behavior Specialist, you will provide essential training, programming, and support in the implementation of applied behavior analysis (ABA) methods. Working closely with our clinical team, you’ll help develop individual treatment plans, train staff, support parents, and ensure meaningful progress for each child.
What You’ll Do
•Develop and implement individualized treatment and educational programs.
•Design student-specific goals, behavioral interventions, and skill acquisition programs
•Collect and analyze data across all learning domains and behavioral targets.
•Provide coaching and training to staff and families across home, center, and community settings
•Collaborate with Behavior Analysts, Program Supervisors, and related service providers
•Assist with staff onboarding and provide ongoing feedback and support.
•Monitor and report medical or behavioral changes to relevant team members and guardians
•Maintain accurate client records and documentation across all aspects of service delivery
•Support program development and service coordination across environments.
•Stay current with best practices in applied behavior analysis and participate in ongoing training
What You’ll Need
•Bachelor’s degree in psychology, special education, or related field.
•Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with autism using ABA methods
•Certification as a BCaBA (preferred); enrollment in ABA graduate coursework (preferred)
•Experience in curriculum development and training others in ABA practices (preferred)
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with families and stakeholders
•Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance
•Ability to pass pre-employment physical, BCI, and CANTS screenings
