Job Description: J&A Glass is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to fill the role of Residential Glazier - Installer. This is a full-time position, with a competitive starting wage and opportunities for advancement within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare work areas or job sites as needed or instructed
- Load, offload, and deliver materials to work sites
- Assist in the installation of shower doors, mirrors, and many other custom glass solutions our clients trust us to provide.
- Follow instructions from the site Lead and Foreman
- Assist Lead Glaziers as needed
- Identify and report issues with work material on site
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Requirements:
- Comfort using hand and power tools
- 1-2 years of basic construction labor experience
- Valid ID and driver's license free of major accidents and DUIs
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Must be punctual, reliable, and have a positive attitude
- Must possess basic work tools and work well with others (specialty tools provided by J&A)
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and plans
- Must be willing to work in all weather conditions and travel to work sites out of the area as needed

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
- Typical hours for this position are from 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.(4-10's)

- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
