Job Description: J&A Glass is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to fill the role of Glazier - Installer. This is a full-time position, with a competitive starting wage and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and prepare work areas or job sites as needed or instructed
• Load, offload, and deliver materials to work sites
• Assist in the installation of glass, storefront/curtain wall, and doors with closers and thresholds
• Follow instructions from the site Lead and Foreman
• Assist Lead Glaziers as needed 
• Assist with brake metal installation 
• Identify and report issues with work material on site
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:

• Comfort using hand and power tools
• 1-2 years of basic construction labor experience
• Valid ID and driver's license free of major accidents and DUIs 
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
• Must be punctual, reliable, and have a positive attitude
• Must possess basic work tools and work well with others (specialty tools provided by J&A)
• Be quickly trained for forklift license, and boom lift/scissor lift certification
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
• Must be willing to work in all weather conditions and travel to work sites out of the area as needed

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

• Typical hours for this position are from 6:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.
• Overtime as required
• Must follow Company uniform requirements
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
