Commercial Loan Branch Manager

• Bilingual in Korean and English
• (Location: Fort Lee, NJ)
• Must already be authorized to work in the U.S. as the bank does not sponsor visas of any type
• Salary: $110,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
• Minimum 10 years of relevant lending/credit of experience

※ The role requires a candidate with strong leadership capabilities, solid credit and underwriting expertise, and hands-on experience in loan operations and team management.

※ Given the nature of the bank’s client base and business environment, candidates with experience serving Korean-American clients or familiarity with Korean language and culture would be highly preferred.

※* Seeking candidates with proven experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, and team leadership within a banking environment.*

• Oversee commercial loan portfolio management, including credit review for new, renewal, and modification requests
• Conduct preliminary credit assessments and support the credit approval process
• Monitor portfolio performance, ensuring covenant compliance and appropriate risk ratings
• Support lending staff in underwriting, structuring, and loan-related decision-making
• Develop and execute business strategies for the Loan Center in coordination with senior management
• Maintain client relationships and identify new business opportunities
• Coordinate with internal departments such as Loan Operations, Credit Administration, and branches
• Manage and develop lending staff, including training and performance oversight
• Stay informed on market trends and maintain relationships within the local lending community
