Role Description The Sales Associate (Part-Time) role is an on-site position based at Izzy & Ivy Boutique in Scottsdale, AZ. This role is responsible for greeting customers, understanding their needs, and providing personalized style recommendations that align with the boutique’s brand and values. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with fitting rooms, processing transactions, handling returns and exchanges, and maintaining accurate point-of-sale records. The Sales Associate also helps with merchandising, restocking, tagging inventory, keeping the store clean and organized, and showcasing new arrivals on the sales floor.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service, relationship-building, and communication skills suited to a boutique retail environment.
- Basic sales, cashiering, and point-of-sale system skills, including handling cash and card transactions accurately.
- Attention to detail in merchandising, visual presentation, and maintaining a clean, organized store space.
- Interest in fashion and styling, with the ability to offer outfit suggestions and product recommendations that reflect current trends.
- Reliability in attendance, time management, and the ability to work flexible hours.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and perform typical retail physical tasks.
- Previous retail or boutique experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and take feedback is essential.
