We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and food preparation techniques to answer guest questions confidently
- Foster positive guest relations by providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous
- Experience in serving, bussing, hosting/hostessing, or food handling enhances suitability for this role
- Strong skills in time management, upselling, guest services, and food safety are essential
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling are required
- Knowledge of the food industry standards for sanitation and food safety is highly desirable
