Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, including wine pairings or specials
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to promote guest relations and positive reviews
- Support other team members as needed in a high-volume restaurant or nightclub setting
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
