Job Summary

Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
- Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments via OpenTable or other reservation platforms
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support smooth restaurant operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, ideally with fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively in a busy setting
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Previous experience with serving, food handling, food preparation, or host/hostess roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of OpenTable reservations system and upselling techniques is a plus
- Culinary experience or kitchen background can be beneficial for understanding menu items and food presentation
