Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation by washing, peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients efficiently and safely
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Support chefs in assembling dishes and ensuring timely delivery of meals
- Stock supplies and ingredients regularly to prevent shortages during service hours
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety standards are met at all times
- Dispose of waste properly and keep the kitchen environment tidy throughout shifts
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of replenishment needs
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques
Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm
- Strong attention to detail to ensure food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards are maintained
