Role Description The Inside Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Owings Mills, MD, but also has the ability to be remote for the right candidate. This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound sales activities, including responding to inquiries, qualifying leads, and guiding prospective and existing customers through product options and solutions. Day-to-day tasks include developing and maintaining relationships with medical facilities, distributors, and OEMs, preparing quotes, processing orders, and ensuring timely follow-up to drive revenue growth. The Inside Sales Representative will collaborate closely with customer service, marketing, and operations teams to support promotions, resolve issues, and maintain accurate records in CRM systems. This position also involves tracking sales performance, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and contributing to continuous improvement of sales processes and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated Inside Sales experience, with a focus on phone and email-based selling and working with CRM tools.
- Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with the ability to build trust, handle questions, and resolve issues promptly.
- Experience in Lead Generation, including prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and nurturing leads through the sales cycle.
- Proficiency in Account Management, including maintaining relationships, monitoring account activity, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical products in an accessible way.
- Organizational and time management skills, including managing multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working with data and sales metrics, including using spreadsheets, CRM dashboards, and basic reporting tools.
- Prior experience in medical devices, healthcare, or a related technical sales environment is preferred but not required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
