We are looking for a hardworking and responsible dishwasher to join our kitchen team at a busy Japanese izakaya in San Mateo. You will play a key role in keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, kitchen tools, and utensils efficiently
- Help keep the dish area, floor, and trash area clean and safe
- Support the kitchen team with basic cleaning and organizing tasks
- Be on time, focused, and ready to work every shift
- Take care of equipment and follow cleaning procedures
We’re looking for someone who:
- Works fast and stays focused under pressure
- Has a strong sense of responsibility and cleanliness
- Is reliable, on time, and willing to help wherever needed
- Can stand for long periods and handle physical work
- Experience is a plus, but not required — we’re happy to train
