This paid, onsite internship is posted for the Summer of 2026, estimated start date would be on or shortly after May 1, 2026.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gain an understanding of Treasury Management and how it helps businesses in their day-to-day financial activities.
- Assist with implementation of new TM products and services.
- Assist with various projects to increase bank fee income.
- Shadow the Treasury Management Officer (TMO) on sales calls.
- Complete annual TM customer reviews with TMO.
- Shadow Business Services Team on calls.
- Attending Commercial Lending and TM meetings.
Business Development
- Works directly with bank staff and TMO to proactively identify cash management sales opportunities, leads and/or product upgrades within an existing portfolio.
- Works with customers, branches, and departments to assist set up new ACH customers and assist with questions on the services they are utilizing.
- Assists Business Bankers in managing existing clients or prospects to deliver a consistent experience both initially and with the ongoing servicing of their needs.
- Works with Retail Bankers to establish procedures for opening and documenting new deposit accounts for commercial customers.
- Favorably represents Ixonia Bank at community functions and meetings.
Operations and Training
- Understands and adheres to all regulatory compliance-related requirements associated with the cash management department and products.
- Assist in the development of Treasury Management Products.
- Prepares analysis comparisons for prospective customer’s that compare Ixonia Bank’s fees to those of the customer’s current bank.
- Educates customers on cash management services, provides product demonstrations, establishes products, and provides support and training for successful use of products/services.
- Contacts customers following implementation to identify any issues or questions.
- Assists Business Banking Head in managing third party vendors and relationships.

- Thorough understanding of bank statements and account analysis statements.
- Ability to take initiative, and work as a self-starter, effectively with minimal supervision.
- Aptitude for problem solving.
