Position Title: Basin Manager
Job Description:
Accountable for all facets of field operations. Scaling field operations department as workload increases. Provide mentorship of field staff in the areas of business acumen, management, cost efficiency, and reporting. Leverage the capabilities of the field team and disseminate information throughout the company. Establish basins for successful growth by developing growth plans and optimizing field support. Conduct field visits to IWS areas of operations frequently to ensure the highest quality of service is maintained. Ensure all IWS policies and procedures are being followed in the field. Obtain feedback from IWS personnel to help identify issues and promote a collaborative culture. Cultivate and maintain relationships with Service Providers. Provide oversight and support to Field Techs. Maintain appropriate compensation plans for field personnel. Establish strategic alliances with key service providers. Employ strong business acumen. Manage costs while ensuring high levels of customer service. Enhance cost recovery. Project manage the transaction from Business Development to Operations for new client onboarding. Optimize the onboarding process. Guide Field Techs when faced with logistical issues. Collaborate with IWS Sales and Marketing to ensure transition and continuity. Create and manage manpower scheduling across multiple basins. Work with multiple divisions within the company to drive and maintain growth. The Basin Manager role requires significant travel within their assigned region and working from field locations. There may be periods of time where the Basin Manager works from one of the company’s offices, however, most of the work will be in the field locations where customers are operating. Travel and work at assigned various locations throughout the U.S.
Job Requirements:
Requires minimum ten (10) years’ experience in the completions industry.
Must have seven (7) years of experience in the following:
- Organization of logistics for field equipment and personnel
- Rig in/Rig out of specialized field equipment where required
- Preparation and deployment of standard safe operating procedures across multiple states/basins following all state/customer specific guidelines.
Must have one (1) plus years of experience in the following:
- Oilfield sensor deployment and data aggregation
- Experience in data acquisition methods (MQTT, Serial)
The Basin Manager role requires significant travel within their assigned region and working from field locations. There may be periods of time where the Basin Manager works from one of the company’s offices, however, most of the work will be in the field locations where customers are operating. Travel and work at assigned various locations throughout the U.S.
