We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to lead medium-to-large scale projects that drive business success. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.
What You’ll Do
- Define scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with business management and stakeholders.
- Develop project plans that outline scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timelines.
- Identify and manage project dependencies, deliverables, and critical path.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions and produce requirements documentation, including gathering business, functional, and system requirements from stakeholders, or overseeing requirements definition by a vendor or in-house business analyst.
- Ensure sign-off and acceptance of project goals and requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress and changes to scope, timeline or budget.
- Create and manage projects and resource plans.
- Own and execute project communications including kick-off, regular project status updates, meetings, and changes to project scope, timelines, risks, etc.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges proactively.
- Delegate appropriate tasks and responsibilities to project participants.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders.
- Conduct project retrospective and ensure that all tasks and close-out steps are completed successfully on the project.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 3 years managing medium-to-large, complex projects
- Ability to manage multiple small to medium projects concurrently
- Strong interpersonal skills, experience with negotiations, and vendor management
- A skilled communicator with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Project management and analytical skills
- Experience with Agile and Scrum project management methodologies
- Ability to grasp new concepts and technology quickly
- 2 years managing projects with vendor partners
- PMP certification a plus
- Scrum Certification a plus
