MAIN FUNCTION:
The Fitness Floor Attendant (FFA) is an essential part of the Fitness and Wellness team. Key responsibilities of this role is to support member retention by engaging with members, ensuring safe and proper use of equipment, and managing the day-to-day operations of the fitness floor. The FFA also supports medically-integrated group classes and helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all members.

REPORTS TO: Fitness and Wellness Supervisor
DIRECT REPORTS: None
POSITION EXPECTATIONS:
Member Support:

Deliver outstanding customer service by engaging and assisting members

Resolve issues quickly, creating a culture that is welcoming and inclusive to all

Guide clients on their exercise routines and demonstrate correct techniques to ensure safety and effectiveness.

Assist with medically-integrated group exercise classes as needed.
Operations & Administration:

Member tracking for utilization trends
-
App assistance (Technogym)
-
Perform regular equipment maintenance, including cleaning, servicing, and minor repairs.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the fitness center.

Complete daily operational checklists and contribute to quality assurance efforts.
Customer Service & Supervision:

Provide active supervision and support on the fitness floor to ensure member safety and satisfaction.

Address member and staff concerns promptly, escalating when necessary.

Maintain a visible presence and engage with members to enhance their experience.
Professional Development & Compliance:

Keep certifications current and stay informed on industry best practices through continuing education (CPR/BSL).

Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
