We are looking for a reliable Shop Helper to join our production team. This is a Grade 5 position focused on supporting skilled operators and maintaining an efficient workflow across various departments. You will move between tasks such as material handling, equipment cleaning, and assisting with production steps.
This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a skilled operator position, as on-the-job training is provided.
Schedule & Training
Note: This is a 4-day work week on a Swing Shift, but requires initial training on days.
- Training Period: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM.
- Regular Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 2:45 PM – 12:45 AM.
- Days Off: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Pay: $22.00/ Hourly
Your Daily Responsibilities
- Staging & Logistics: Deliver, move, and store parts and materials to keep production moving.
- Operator Support: Work alongside skilled personnel to load/unload equipment and gather tools.
- Maintenance: Keep work areas and machinery clean and organized.
- Technical Tasks: Follow "technique cards" to complete multi-step duties once trained.
- Safety: Follow all safety rules, use protective gear when required, and complete necessary logs.Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations.
- Physical ability to handle the demands of a production environment.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and specifications.
- Must be willing to complete Forklift Safety and Hazardous Materials training.
