About the Opportunity
Are you a motivated HR professional with the drive to step into a leadership role down the line? We are seeking a dynamic, people-oriented HR Generalist to join our manufacturing team. This is a direct-hire career track position designed for an ambitious professional looking to grow-our ideal candidate is someone we can actively develop to eventually backfill the HR Manager role. In this role, you will own the talent acquisition life cycle and drive impactful employee relations strategies in a fast-paced, continuous-improvement environment.

- Base Salary: $76,100 - $100,000 / year (depending on experience)
- Bonus: 2.5% Quarterly Cash Bonus eligibility
- Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
- FLSA Status: Exempt
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition Leadership: Take full ownership of the recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, and testing for hourly production and salaried roles. Develop strong pipelines by partnering with local trade/technical schools and community colleges.
- Employee RelationsEngagement: Drive a positive employee relations culture through open communication, proactive outreach, and conflict resolution. Partner with supervisors to resolve performance issues, deliver coaching, and conduct investigations when necessary.
- Labor Strategy: Lead union avoidance efforts and deliver preventive maintenance training to supervisors regarding positive employee interactions.
- PerformanceStrategy: Partner with leadership to implement change management initiatives, review annual job descriptions, and support succession planning.
- HRISCompliance: Maintain accurate records within SAP (HRIS), generate data reports for the HR Manager, and ensure strict compliance with EEO/OFCCP regulations and affirmative action programs.
- Benefits Support: Assist with annual open enrollment planning, preparation, and provide ongoing support to employees navigating benefits inquiries.
QualificationsExperience
- Experience: 3 to 7 years of progressive HR Generalist experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is preferred.
- Core Traits: Highly motivated, career-driven, and intensely people-oriented with a strong desire for continual learning and upward advancement.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with MS Office and hands-on experience utilizing HRIS databases (SAP experience is highly preferred).
- Certifications: PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
- Legal Requirement: Proof of US citizenship, nationality, and/or permanent resident status to comply with applicable export and import laws.
