Position Overview
The Aisle Stocker is responsible for maintaining fully stocked, clean, and organized shelves throughout the store. This role supports daily operations by ensuring products are easy for customers to find, carts are available, and the store remains tidy.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock shelves, displays, and coolers with incoming merchandise
- Rotate products and check expiration dates to ensure freshness
- Organize back-stock and maintain clean storage areas
- Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot
- Sweep aisles, pick up trash, and maintain general store cleanliness
- Assist customers with locating products when asked
- Help unload deliveries and move boxes using proper lifting techniques
- Ensure pricing labels and signage are accurate and visible
- Follow safety procedures and store protocols
- Support other team members and perform additional duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous grocery or retail experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Friendly and helpful attitude with good customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Must be able to work weekends or evenings as needed
