Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other educators to create a comprehensive curriculum
- Implement individualized education plans for students with special needs
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in early childhood education
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies and techniques
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies
- Understanding of child development principles and theories
- Experience in planning and implementing educational activities for young children
- Knowledge of special education practices and accommodations
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children on an individual level
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools/software
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
- Background check clearance
