The Opportunity
We are seeking a commercially minded Finance Director to lead financial stewardship and strategic support for Ivy’s ITAD segment. This role will partner closely with business leaders to drive growth, performance, integration, and value creation, while helping shape a scalable, insight-led finance model that supports operational excellence and disciplined execution.
Ivy has aggressively entered the ITAD space having completed three recent acquisitions and hired industry proven experts. This role will be responsible for supporting these businesses as they embark upon a growth journey, ensuring sound controls, optimised commercials and complete data transparency.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic leadership: Shape and deliver financial and commercial strategies that support growth, improve margin, and align finance with Ivy’s operational and customer priorities.
- Financial oversight: Lead budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, reporting, and balance sheet stewardship, providing decision-ready analysis for executive and board discussions.
- Performance management: Monitor revenue, cost, margin, inventory, and asset performance, turning data into clear actions that improve profitability and execution.
- Cash and capital management: Oversee cash flow, working capital, and Capex, partnering on treasury, tax, banking, and legal entity matters to support liquidity and disciplined capital allocation.
- Executive engagement: Prepare and present clear board- and leadership-level materials, including performance updates, insights, and recommendations.
- Commercial finance: Support pricing, customer and contract profitability, investment appraisal, and scenario modelling to strengthen decision-making and maximise value recovery.
- Cross-functional leadership: Partner across operations, sales, supply chain, IT, HR, and legal to support integration, expansion, and performance improvement in a matrix environment.
- Transformation and data: Improve finance systems, automation, reporting, and data quality to build scalable processes and stronger business insight.
- M&A and integration: Support due diligence, acquisition modelling, synergy tracking, and post-acquisition integration to ensure expected value is delivered.
- Integration controls and reporting: Establish strong accounting, systems, and reporting controls for new business integrations, including data validation, policy alignment, reconciliations, monthly close, forecasting, and KPI standardisation.
- Governance and compliance: Maintain a strong control environment, audit readiness, and financial governance that reflects Ivy’s commitment to accountability, transparency, and disciplined execution.
- Culture: Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and partnership across the finance function and wider business.
- Leadership and talent development: Develop finance talent, strengthen organisational capability, and foster a high-performance culture with clear accountability.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified accountant with relevant post-qualified finance leadership experience.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent preferred.
- Strong finance leadership background in a commercial, operational, manufacturing, or high-growth environment, with the ability to support execution in a dynamic business.
- Commercially focused, with the ability to build trusted partnerships across operations, sales, and executive leadership.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to lead change and bring clarity to complex decisions.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; ERP experience such as SAP or NetSuite preferred.
- Fluent English and able to work across global time zones.
