What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operator position at Ivy Technology LLC?
The task of the test operator is to carry out the disassembly, parts inventory, final re-assembly and cosmetic work on each unit.
Responsibilities:
- Disassemble units to examine the hardware, for wear or defects, using hand or power tools and measuring devices
- Adjust or replace electrical or mechanical hardware components using hand tools, power tools, or soldering or equipment as requested by the technician
- Maintain parts inventories and order any additional parts needed for repairs
- Reassemble machines after making repairs or replacing parts
- Identifies cosmetics defects and communicates any discrepancies to a technician
- Other tasks as assigned by the manager
Requirements:
- High School or equivalent preferred
- Proficient knowledge of computer hardware
- 1 year of assembly and repair experience preferred with Laptop, computer, and/or component repair
- Experience using hand power tools required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
