What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Director of Project Implementation and Support position at Ivy Tech Community College?
Under the general direction of the Vice President of Project Implementation and support, delivers implementation and support for key initiatives. The Executive Director of Project Implementation and support is responsible for providing project implementation, coordination, and support for various initiatives, including the Four Disciplines of Execution (4DX) and the Strategic Plan, on behalf of the College.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and execute comprehensive project plans with built-in continuous improvement methods for all assigned projects.
Manage the coordination of cross-functional project teams, lead and facilitate effective team meetings, synthesize discussions, and assign and document actionable next steps.
Track all project deadlines, deliverables, and outcomes for assigned projects and ensure timely execution of deliverables.
Lead and execute the ongoing implementation support of the Four Disciplines of Execution (4DX) on behalf of the College and lead and convene the statewide network of 4DX Coaches.
Assist the Project Implementation & Support team with IMPACT process routing, awareness, presentations, consultations, and ongoing implementation support. IMPACT stands for Initiative, Measure, Project/Process, Action, Communicate, and transform and is the college's process for evaluating and implementing statewide projects and initiatives.
Lead and coordinate the statewide network of Process Improvement Leads and assist with the successful training and implementation of IvyLean training focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Coordinate campus and systems office projects and initiatives that require cross-functional engagement with key staff across the organization and with external stakeholders, as appropriate.
Provide support for various projects and meetings. This may include, but is not limited to:
Developing meeting agendas,
Conducting research and tracking data trends,
Drafting briefing papers and/or compiling background materials,
Preparing and delivering presentations,
Preparing summaries of discussion along with action items, and
Coordinating logistical arrangements (as needed).
Provide and maintain accurate and timely project information in all project plans, communications, status reporting, and effective communications with stakeholders.
Analyze and examine existing policies and procedures through documentation, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
Assist with raising awareness of the Project Implementation & Support team services and support through the development of a website, presentations, and informational resources.
Leverage Asana, Project Management Software, to track and monitor project progress.
Promote effective teamwork and a spirit of partnership.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 3-5 years of work experience with project management with a focus in strategic operations and implementation.
Must have excellent communication skills and demonstrated success in applying project implementation and support to large-scale projects and initiatives.
Must have a focus on attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and sound communication skills.
Knowledge of Project Management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall, tools, and techniques is preferred.
Ability to manage multiple projects, assign and manage work activities, meet deadlines, and develop project management reporting in a timely and effective manner.
Strong organizational skills and demonstrated capacity to develop and implement practical strategies, plans, and solutions to identified issues and problems.
Proven track record of taking initiative in managing competing priorities and working effectively under pressure when facing extremely short deadlines.
Exceptional research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills, and the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear, concise, and logical manner.
Fosters a climate conducive to establishing positive working relationships with teams and constituents (functional and technical).
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and independently; performs work effectively with minimal to no supervision.

SALARY RANGE: $85,000 - $90,000 Annualized
