Purpose of Position: The primary responsibility of the work-study will be to work with individual and small groups of students to increase literacy and engagement of classroom activities. ** OPEN TO CURRENTLY REGERISTED IVY TECH STUDENTS ELIGIBLE FOR FEDERAL WORK-STUDY EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM ** Duties and Responsibilities: 1. With direction from classroom teacher, assist with individual and small groups of students for classroom learning activities 2. With direction from teacher and administration, assist in managing procedures conducive for learning 3. Other classroom responsibilities as assigned General Qualifications: 1. Completed FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need 2. Maintain a minimum of 6 credit hours of enrollment in eligible courses 3. Maintain an aid-eligible Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status 4. High School Diploma 5. Music meet physical demands necessary to meet educational needs of students, ie.
