What are the responsibilities and job description for the Independent Living Aide - Every Other Weekend 2PM - 9 PM position at Ivy Knoll Senior Community?
Ivy Knoll, a senior living community located in Covington, KY, is seeking a part-time Independent Living Aide every other weekend for our afternoon shift (2:00 PM to 9:00 pm).
The Independent Living Aide is responsible for the following:
- Provides personal care as required to residents in independent living apartments
- Escorts residents to the dining room as needed
- Assists with meal service
- Light housekeeping including: making beds, doing dishes, laundry, keeping apartments tidy/neat/safe
- Removal of trash as needed
- Maintains a positive, professional demeanor towards residents, families and co-workers
- Reports any incidents/accidents immediately to the supervisor or Director of Nursing
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- 1 year resident care in home health setting
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Effective time management
- Excellent customer service skills
