Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate Part-Time Closing Teacher to join our team here at Ivy Kids! As a Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children. You will play a vital role in their development and education, helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
Duties:
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Provide individualized attention and support to children
- Provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with teachers and staff
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding their child
Qualifications:
- College Degree (Preferred)
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience working with children in a classroom setting (preferred)
- Knowledge of child development best practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and promote positive behavior
- Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Classroom management skills to create an engaging learning environment.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles to facilitate the development of young learners.
- Positive attitude and behavior that contributes to our school's overall great culture
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
