Ivy Insights is a creator-app studio. We build and co-own mobile apps with social media creators on a 50/50 partnership model, distributed entirely through organic creator audiences with zero paid acquisition. Our portfolio spans apps in wellness, social entertainment, fan commerce, creator tooling, and social gaming.
The Role
We need a technical lead to own architecture, quality, and velocity across our entire app portfolio while other engineers go deep on individual products. You will work directly with founders and influencers, make systems-level decisions, and actively ship. This is not a management-only role.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end architecture across a suite of React Native consumer apps
- Make foundational technical decisions: backend, auth, data modeling, API design
- Lead code reviews and enforce quality standards across the portfolio
- Actively ship features alongside the team
- Coordinate and evaluate contract engineers and external dev vendors
- Own App Store deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and release management
- Translate product requirements into specs and realistic timelines
- Review code for cost saving opportunities and implement scalable system architecture
Required Qualifications
- Shipped a consumer mobile app end-to-end, from zero to live on the App Store
- Expert-level React Native
- Full-stack capability: Node/Express or equivalent, REST APIs, database modeling
- Systems architecture experience; you have made the decisions, not just implemented them
- Prior consumer tech background; you understand retention, not just features
- Ability to build and understand tracking funnels within product
Strong Bonuses
- Native Swift / iOS experience
- Experience managing contract engineers or external dev vendors
- Worked at a startup with fewer than 10 people
- Background in creator economy, social, or entertainment products
Tech Stack
