What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Dietary Manager position at Ivy Hill Post Acute Nursing and Rehabilitation?
As part of the management team, the Food Service Director will report to the Administrator, oversee the dietary operations, and ensure that standards of quality, service, and sanitation are met.
Responsibilities include:
Adhering to established budget parameters
Safety measures regarding employees and food
Ensuring regulatory compliance, company standards, and systems are met consistently
Planning and organizing projects, system changes, and events
Staffing food service department as needed within productive hours budget
Employee recruitment
Interview, orient, train, and schedule employees
Creating and modifying job flows for positions in the food service department
Quality standards to ensure superior service and all aspects of running a food service department are being met.
Performs related duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Two or more years of experience in food service management, preferably Long-term Care setting.
Must have strong interpersonal and team management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of therapeutic diets
Knowledge of regulatory and sanitation standards
ServSafe Certified
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certificate
