What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher position at Ivy Hill Academy?
Preschool Teacher - Experience REQUIRED
At Ivy Hill Academy, we value our teachers as members of our school family: and family comes first. We care for our staff, providing them with time off (including two weeks of holiday pay at Christmas/New Years), health benefits, and matching retirement plans. We have built a staff family climate and culture based collaboration rather than competition, and on the power of unity; we are all in this together.
We are seeking qualified brain builders who are passionate about the education and care of the children and families that they serve. Our school family currently has children ages 6 weeks - 5 years; and with two teachers in each classroom you will split lesson planning as well as stress levels! Our ratios are among the lowest in our area.
CDA, Staff Credential, or Degree preferred. Experience a must.
Preference will be given to those with experience with Conscious Discipline.
