What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN position at IVY FERTILITY?
Nevada Fertility Center is looking for a temporary, full-time, Pre/Post Operative, RN. We are looking for someone who would love to be part of an amazing team that helps people achieve their dreams of having a baby! This is a temporary role with an anticipated duration of six months.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Assist in OR/PACU
2. Documents patient care services by charting on patient and department records. Uses clinical computer software
3. Responsible for all required labs and procedures are completed and documented according to protocols
4. Provides patient counseling and education
5. Ensure quality and quantity of materials provided to patients
6. Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
7. Communicate physician orders and instructions to patients
8. Cover weekend/holidays as required
9. Coordination of services with affiliate providers
10. Conduct medication/injection instructions
11. Acts as clinical resource for support staff
12. Interacts with physicians, counselors, embryologists, sonographers, medical assistants, lab staff, financial staff, and administrative staff for delivery of high-quality patient care.
13. Complete all required trainings as designated
14. Maintain active licensure and certifications as applicable
15. Demonstrates understanding of providing cost effective care
16. Maintain a clean and safe environment
17. Other duties as assigned
Education and training/ experience:
· Must have High School diploma
· Bachelors Degree in nursing or graduate of accredited school of Nursing
· Preferred 2 years of experience in an area of women’s health
. Must have ACLS/BLS Training
Competencies:
· Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
· Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentations software
· Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately to all stressful situations
Physical Demands:
· Sitting and standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, squatting
Salary : $36 - $45
