Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Manage Duckpin Bowling Reservations.
- Manage flow of Duckpin Bowling Lanes, helping to direct customers & create new lane reservations.
- Maintain an organized waiting list during busy periods and communicate wait times accurately to guests.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Address guest concerns or complaints promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous Hosting experience preferred, with a strong background in food service or hospitality.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS & Conqueror POS (Duckpin Bowling) are helpful.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy restaurant environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: $9.00 - $13.00 per hour
