Responsibilities
- Perform non-invasive and minimally invasive aesthetic procedures, including dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, esthetic laser treatments, and other skin rejuvenation techniques.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine suitability for aesthetic interventions, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes.
- Educate clients on treatment options, post-procedure care, and realistic expectations to foster informed decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans aligned with patient goals and medical history.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies, including procedure notes and patient records.
- Manage inventory of aesthetic supplies and ensure sterilization protocols are followed for all equipment and materials.
- Stay current with industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices in aesthetic medicine to continually enhance service quality.
Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in aesthetics or relevant specialty areas such as dermatology or plastic surgery.
- Proven experience performing botulinum toxin treatments, dermal fillers, laser therapies, and other cosmetic procedures.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to aesthetic medicine.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks for documentation and patient management.
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about treatment options and aftercare.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team while adhering to collaborative practice agreements where applicable.
- Prior experience working in a clinical setting that involves medical office procedures, sterile technique, injection administration, and medical documentation standards.
