Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential, commercial, or hospitality spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation in kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas by using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items.
- Conduct floor care activities including carpet cleaning, polishing floors, and applying protective coatings as needed.
- Ensure all janitorial supplies are stocked and properly stored; notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Assist with basic cooking tasks or food preparation in hospitality settings when required.
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally while maintaining a friendly attitude.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial roles; hotel or residential cleaning experience is highly valued.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and bending frequently.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly approach to customer service.
- Previous experience in laundry services or housekeeping management is a plus; commercial cleaning or hotel experience is desirable.
