What are the responsibilities and job description for the Google Cloud Engineer III position at iVision Consulting?
We are hiring a Google Cloud Engineer to support our federal client's modernization efforts.
- US citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance is required
- Position is hybrid; should be local to Bethesda, Maryland, required to be onsite at the client site 2 days/week.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy and administer Google cloud environments, applying systems administration experience on cloud web services platforms to include security, load balancing, provisioning, and metrics.
- Leverage experience in applying AWS and other Google cloud deployments in order to enable transformation of SOA-based environments into cloud-enabled environments.
- Strong DevSecOps background to establish monitoring of GCP infrastructure, support deployment of GCP services across tiers
- Develop CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Technical or Scientific Discipline
- Seven (7) years of technical experience, with at least two (2) years of in Google cloud-based environments.
Salary:
- $140,000 annual salary
