What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Phlebotomist position at IVI RMA GLOBAL?
IVI RMA North America has a need for a Part-Time Phlebotomist for our Somerset clinic. The schedule would be Monday and Wednesday-5:30am-10:30am and Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 5:30am-1:30am.
This individual will draw blood from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. The Phlebotomist maintains a cooperative relationship with clinical staff and helps to create a positive experience for our patients.

Essential Functions And Accountabilities
- Properly identifies patients.
- Performs and explains the process of the venipuncture and/or other specimen collection as required.
- Conducts blood draws, labeling specimens, and centrifuging specimens.
- To store and transport specimen samples according to the different procedures to maintain integrity of the specimen.
- Understands and complies with OSHA and DEP regulations.
- Maintains clean and stocked phlebotomy Area.
- Reassures patients and provide comfort to ease anxieties.
- Completion of a Phlebotomy Program– highly preferred ( required in CA, WA, TX).
- Studies level: Certification
- Studies area: Phlebotomy Program
- 3 years' recent work performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting - required
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word, and Outlook - required
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience - required
