Per Diem Clinical Care Associate

IVIRMA North America network of state-of-the-art fertility practices in the United States, is currently seeking a Per Diem Clinical Care Associate to join our growing Littleton practice! Looking for someone who is able to work every other weekend Saturday and Sunday 7am-12pm and some holidays.

Job Purpose: The Clinical Care Associate will promote and restore patients’ health by assisting in the ultrasound process and supporting multidisciplinary team members with hands-on patient care. You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high-quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care.  

Essential Functions and Accountabilities: 

• Assist Sonographers/Ultrasound Technicians with ultrasound procedures
• Room patients and prepare them for ultrasounds
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures
• Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds
• Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol
• Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory
• Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results. Enter results and email to provider team for review
• Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Academic Training:

• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred
  1. Studies level: Certification
  2. Studies area: Nursing/healthcare assistant

Position Requirements/Experience: 

• 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
• Prior experience in women’s healthcare – preferred
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Technical Skills: 

• knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel – required
• EMR experience - preferred
