What You’ll Do
As our inaugural Practice Manager, you will:
- Establish operational systems, workflows, and accountability structures
- Lead day-to-day hospital operations including staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management
- Partner with the practice owner on budgeting, growth strategy, and service development
- Foster a cohesive, respectful, and high-performing team culture
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements
- Ensure an exceptional, frictionless client experience
Because we are a small team, this role requires functional, hands-on capability. You must be comfortable stepping in to support front desk operations, assisting with workflow coordination, troubleshooting scheduling issues, and helping maintain smooth daily operations when needed.
What You Bring
- Minimum 5 years of veterinary experience with at least 3 years of management experience
- The ideal candidate is a licensed veterinary technician with the ability to become licensed in the state
- Demonstrated success leading and developing teams
- Strong working knowledge of veterinary hospital operations, scheduling, and performance management
- Functional operational skills with the ability to actively support front desk or patient workflow needs in a small-team environment
- Financial literacy, including basic budgeting and KPI monitoring
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- A collaborative leadership style with a commitment to accountability and culture
