Role Description The Licensed Insurance Agent is a full-time, on-site position based in Parkers Prairie, MN. This role involves meeting with clients in person and by phone to assess insurance needs, explain coverage options, and recommend suitable policies. The agent will prepare quotes, process new applications, manage renewals, and handle policy changes across personal and commercial lines. Daily responsibilities include providing responsive customer service, resolving billing or claims questions, and maintaining accurate records in agency systems. The agent will also develop new business through referrals, networking, and outreach, while complying with industry regulations and agency procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Insurance and Insurance Brokerage, with the ability to explain coverage options clearly and accurately.
- Proven experience in Insurance Sales, including prospecting, presenting solutions, and closing new business.
- Understanding of Finance concepts relevant to premiums, deductibles, and risk, supporting sound recommendations to clients.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, including active listening, problem-solving, and maintaining professional, empathetic communication.
