What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Scheduler position at Ivanhoe Industries Inc.?
Develop and manage production schedule for a mid-sized chemical manufacturer.
Update schedule in real-time to adapt to changes in operational and commercial priorities.
Schedule covers two plants operating 24x5.
Work with operations management, R&D, and process engineering teams to incorporate the impact of process changes/improvements on scheduling.
Measure and track schedule adherence and review root causes of schedule variations.
Reports to Plant Manager
Qualifications
At least 2 years of operations management experience in a batch manufacturing environment. Specific experience evaluating and understanding scheduling constraints in a high-volume, complex operational environment will be highly valued.
Ideally, experience in food and/or chemical manufacturing environments.
Excellent analytical skills
Experience with tools and modeling techniques for scheduling and schedule optimization.
Pay: $50, $75,000.00 per year
