Overview

Pay range listed is the average take home pay based on a number of various factors:

• Monday - Friday Avg start time 6AM
• Running from Elwood Terminals: 30 miles 1 way average local
• Running from Elwood Terminals : 80 miles 1 way average regional
• You determine your paycheck based on the start time and the distances driven
• We do not force dispatch but please keep in mind, $1.800 ranging to $4,400 take home is achieved with different levels of output. We have the work.

Duties

• Safely operate your own tractor-trailer to transport intermodal freight within designated local routes, including container drayage and terminal-to-terminal
• Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and hazardous materials regulations during daily operations
• Manage delivery documentation accurately and maintain detailed logs of all trips, including load & unload activities and route details

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving within local or regional areas
• Excellent understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, and safety standards for commercial driving
