We are currently seeking an office assistant - join our team today!

Recruiting a part-time office assistant to help with clerical duties in our Alexandria Ivan Smith Furniture store. Work schedule includes Saturdays. High School Diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education required. Some customer service experience preferred. Must be detailed oriented and comfortable with various computer software and comfortable speaking with customers in person and over the telephone. Good organizational skills also required. Minimum pay is $14 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Contact customers by telephone to arrange delivery appointments
• Confirm customer information including address and special directions
• Verify or correct Route-View
• Insure proper delivery trucks are assigned and have room for the delivery
• Process cancellations as necessary
• Communicate delivery appointments to central delivery
• Reschedule appointments as needed
• Contact customers after delivery to confirm customer satisfaction
• Perform other duties as assigned
