Job Summary
The IV Registered Nurse at IV Nutrition is responsible for delivering high-quality IV therapy and injection services in a safe, professional, and welcoming environment. This role requires strong IV skills, excellent customer service, attention to detail, and strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate is reliable, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced wellness setting with a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform IV insertions with proficiency, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare and administer IV bags according to provider orders and company protocols
- Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections competently and safely
- Monitor patients during IV therapy and respond appropriately to patient needs
- Remove IVs properly and assess IV sites for complications
- Accurately chart and document all services provided for each client
- Follow HIPAA laws, privacy standards, and company policies at all times
- Provide excellent customer service and create a positive client experience
- Ask patients if they would like water or another beverage during treatment
- Offer and apply hand and neck warmers as requested
- Provide blankets and adjust patient chairs for comfort
- Answer phone calls, schedule or assist clients as needed, and address basic inquiries
- Maintain a clean, organized treatment area throughout the day
- Clean and restock rooms and supplies at the end of each shift
- Assist with general clinic duties as needed to support daily operations
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Strong IV insertion and venipuncture skills
- Experience with injections preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule
- Detail-oriented and responsible with documentation and compliance
Job Types: Part-time, PRN
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 15 per week
