What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaning Technician / Housekeeper position at IV Management?
IV Management is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team! This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our properties, including both common areas and individual residential units. This role is critical in ensuring a high-quality living environment for tenants and maintaining the standard of our properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize common areas, including hallways, entryways, stairwells, and shared spaces
- Perform thorough cleaning of individual apartments as needed, including unit turnovers, deep cleans, and move-in/move-out preparation
- Maintain consistent, high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout all properties
- Assist with laundry duties as required, including linens or common area materials where applicable
- Remove trash and debris from interior and exterior areas as needed
- Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is low
- Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns in a timely manner
- Follow all company procedures and safety protocols while performing duties
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively without direct supervision
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities and adapt to changing daily needs
- Prior cleaning, or houskeeping is required
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with weekend work as needed based on property demands.
