General Manager Multi-Functional Property

Summary

General Manager at ITEC will oversee business operations, safety, finance, and communications. The ideal candidate will be an expert leader who has a strong ability to delegate responsibility and collaborate across a range of departments.

Objectives of this role

· Develop strategic plan for optimized productivity.

· Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and implementing innovative changes.

· Adhere to ITEC standards of excellence and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and make key decisions for the ITEC; coordinate with stakeholders as necessary.

· Oversee large projects, prepare and interpret performance reports.

· Ensure all departments align with ITEC’s strategic objectives.

• Implement and manage budgets and financial activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders.
• Manage crisis situations and resolve complex problems.
• Work in coordination with the legal department to ensure that all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with collective bargaining agreements, laws and regulations, including workplace laws such as the FLRA, FMLA, ADA.
• Assess and manage risks to the ITEC’s financial and operational health.
• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals.

· Provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas.

· Educational and Training Alignment: Check in periodically with education and training stakeholders to ensure that facility operations and resources are actively supporting the core training programs and goals.

· Emergency Response: Ability to immediately address and/or make time sensitive decisions, recommendations, or escalations as needed to avoid critical system failures and maintain business continuity.

· Security & Surveillance: Manage daily monitoring of CCTV cameras and property perimeters to ensure property security and asset protection.

Qualifications and requirements

• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role.
• Experience in developing operational strategies and implementing stakeholder vision.
• Strong understanding of finance and performance management principles.
• In-depth knowledge of general management best practices.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
• Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
• Degree in business administration or relevant field, and/or commensurate work experience.
• Ability to understand and speak some Spanish is preferable but not required.
• Some experience with educational/vocational training and/or mixed use facilities is preferred.
• Some experience with labor unions and/or a collectively bargained workforce is preferred.

Pay: $145,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
