Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead and manage Commercial Construction projects from initiation through completion. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with a strong background in construction management, exceptional organizational skills, and a track record of delivering high-quality results. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all phases of construction, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and on-site execution. You will ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with all quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses for construction projects.
Budget Management
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and within agreed-upon limits.
- Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
- Approve and process invoices and change orders.
Team Leadership
- Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and site workers.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
Quality Control
- Oversee all construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues.

- Maintain regular communication with clients and provide updates on project status and address any concerns.

- Address and resolve any unforeseen challenges promptly.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficient in Procore and Scheduling Software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously when necessary.
- Adept at coordinating work in active environments that remain operational during construction.
- Familiarity with DoD construction standards, security protocols, and coordination with base personnel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Familiarity with pre-construction, scope development and cost estimating.
- Prior experience managing construction projects on active military bases or other Department of Defense installations is strongly preferred.

The pay range for this role is:
