Vulcan is a growing company that produces industry leading cooking equipment supplying the restaurant industry. We are seeking a motivated and energetic Human Resources Analyst to join our team. The successful applicant will oversee day to day HR administrative assignments and drive HR initiatives with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.

Reports into Sr. Human Resources Manager
Job Description
- Follow and execute ITW Enterprise Strategy, ITW Toolkit, Core Values, and Code of Conduct as an employee of the business
- Meets deadlines in preparing daily, weekly and monthly reporting and work plans..
- Promotes a positive work environment by applying company policies consistently and in a fair manner.
- High degree of confidentiality when addressing employee concerns.
- Responsible for performing standard analyses of data and support activities within a specific specialist area in the Human Resources department.
- Responds to basic HR questions and explain functional policies & procedures to managers and/or employees, assists with communications, and acts as a general support role for the specialty function.
- May work cross-functionally to achieve common human resource goals and may have regular interaction with vendors.
- Conducts and/or collaborates to deliver HR programs such as new hire onboarding, safety compliance, and monitoring payroll administration and general reporting assignments.
- Work collaboratively as a team member across all platforms to drive company initiatives.
Qualifications
- Enjoys working with people in a professional way with the ability to support others
- Knowledge and background in Human Resources
- Strong writing and communication skills, with an analytical mindset
- Ability to operate as “hand-on” executor
- Must be able to work independently in a team environment with multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good decision making and judgment
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or related field or equivalent work experience
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Human Resources or Financial administration.

- Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs
- In office work environment
- Hours varies, Monday-Friday
