Role Description
We are seeking a Kids Baking Class Instructor for a contract-based, remote role. Instructors will lead engaging baking classes for children, teach essential baking techniques, and provide hands-on guidance in a fun and supportive environment. This role involves creating lesson plans, preparing ingredients, setting up safe and organized workspaces in your home kitchen, and fostering a nurturing atmosphere that encourages creativity and learning. Occasionally, classes may be conducted at local schools, libraries, or community centers as requested.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in baking, recipe preparation, and kitchen safety
- Experience working with children, teaching, or providing culinary education
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with children and parents
- Organizational and time management skills for lesson planning and class preparation
- Access to a safe, clean, and functional home kitchen
- Passion for cooking, education, and inspiring young learners
- Prior experience in a teaching role or culinary arts field is a plus
- Ability to adapt content to different age groups (ages 3-14)
