Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Intern to join our team with a focus on Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment, supporting projects that drive efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational performance.

- Support Kaizen events, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, and Production
- Document current and future state processes using tools such as value stream mapping or process flow diagrams
- Participate in time studies, line balancing, and workstation optimization
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other CI tools is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Self-starter with a passion for process improvement and operational excellence
- Prior internship or hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or manufacturing execution systems (MES)
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Minitab, Power BI, or Python
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing (e.g., ISO, OSHA)
- Certification or coursework in Lean Six Sigma (e.g., Yellow Belt or higher)
