Role Description
This is a full-time Design Engineer role based on-site in Irvine, CA. The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and refining designs for electrical connectors and related products, ensuring they meet industry and company standards. Daily tasks include performing mechanical and electrical design evaluations, creating detailed product design plans using CAD software, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and optimizing product performance. The role also involves troubleshooting and providing solutions to engineering challenges during the development process.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Design Engineering and Product Design, with the ability to create innovative and reliable solutions
- Strong skills in Mechanical Engineering and knowledge relevant to product development
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and applications
- Background in Electrical Engineering with an understanding of circuit design and component integration
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required
