CONTRACTOR POSITION WITH WORK TRUCK OR VAN NEEDED
We are actively seeking skilled and experienced MDU Fiber Technicians to join our growing team. If you have hands-on fiber experience and take pride in delivering high-quality work, we encourage you to apply and become part of our expanding operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, splice, and terminate fiber optic cabling.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair fiber network issues as needed.
- Perform wall fishing and work in attics, crawlspaces, and complete building wrap-arounds.
- Deliver high-quality fiber installations in both residential and commercial environments.
- Maintain exceptional customer service while interacting with clients.
- Follow all safety guidelines and comply with industry standards and company procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as an MDU Fiber Technician.
- Working knowledge of fiber installations, splicing, and troubleshooting.
- Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and confined spaces.
- Strong attention to detail with proven problem-solving skills.
- Professional, customer-focused, and dependable.
- Willingness to travel and work across multiple states as needed.
1099 Independent Contractor Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation (truck or van).
- Strong communication skills with management, customers, and team members.
- High commitment to safety, quality, and performance standards.
Work Expectations
- Crews of five (5) technicians are preferred for optimal efficiency.
- Technicians are expected to arrive on-site 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
Compensation
- Pay varies by location and is based on completed units.
- Payment is issued two (2) weeks after invoicing.
- No retainage is held for crews with no damages and verified insurance on file.
