Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Tow Truck Operator to join our energetic team! Responsibilities

  • Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized equipment, to recover and transport vehicles safely.
  • Assess vehicle conditions using automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge to determine the best recovery approach.
  • Load and unload vehicles carefully, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and emergency responders to coordinate vehicle recovery operations.
  • Manage conflict situations professionally, providing excellent customer service even under challenging circumstances.
  • Conduct routine inspections of tow truck equipment such as forklifts and ensure all tools are maintained and operational.
  • Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, including load details, routes taken, and incident reports.

Experience

  • Proven experience operating tow trucks or similar commercial driving vehicles.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on automotive repair skills.
  • Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and manual transmission operation.
  • Experience with flatbed towing equipment and vehicle load securing techniques.
  • Customer service background with the ability to handle conflict management professionally.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving license preferred.

Pay: $25.08 - $30.20 per hour
